Driver/Logistics Support

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Reports to: Administrative/Operations Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
The Driver / Logistics Support will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of staff, clients, and materials while also assisting with logistics coordination and basic administrative support. The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent driving skills, knowledge of Lagos road networks, and the ability to support day-to-day operational logistics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Driving Duties
• Safely drive company staff, clients, and visitors to designated locations.
• Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off according to schedules and assignments.
• Maintain assigned vehicle in good working condition through regular checks and servicing.
• Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and trip logs.
• Adhere strictly to road traffic laws and company driving policies.
• Report any mechanical issues, accidents, or traffic violations promptly.
• Keep the vehicle clean (interior and exterior) at all times.
Logistics Support Duties
• Assist with planning and coordinating staff movements, meetings, and site visits.
• Support office logistics, including dispatching and delivery of documents, parcels, and light materials.
• Run official errands as required, including banking, procurement.
• Provide support during company events, site inspections, and client visits.
• Assist the admin team with basic record-keeping and inventory checks.
• Ensure smooth day-to-day logistics operations to support project teams.

REQUIREMENTS
• Education: Minimum of OND Certificate (Ordinary National Diploma).
• License (Mandatory): Valid Nigerian driver’s license.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ professional driving experience, preferably in a corporate or construction environment.
• Knowledge: Good knowledge of Lagos road networks and traffic patterns.
• Skills:
o Excellent driving and road safety skills.
o Strong organizational skills for logistics coordination.
o Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Other Requirements:
o Must be punctual, trustworthy, and reliable.
o Must reside within or around Victoria Island, Lagos.
o Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance is an advantage.
