Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Montaigne Place, Nigeria’s leading luxury cosmetics, fragrance, and lifestyle brand, is seeking a highly experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee nationwide retail operations and drive business growth. This role requires a seasoned leader with strong retail expertise, operational excellence, and a passion for luxury customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and oversee operations across multiple outlets nationwide, ensuring sales growth and premium customer service.
• Drive P&L accountability, optimize inventory and supply chain, and ensure outlet profitability.
• Translate brand vision into retail operations, ensuring ambience, merchandising, and service excellence.
• Manage departmental heads, building a strong sales performance culture and driving accountability.
Use data-driven insights (sales reports, KPIs, dashboards) to inform decisions and improve outlet performance.
• Champion innovation, retail expansion, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
• Minimum 12–15 years’ leadership experience in luxury retail, beauty, cosmetics, or premium FMCG.
• Proven track record in multi-outlet operations management (nationwide or regional).
• Strong background in sales-driven retail environments with focus on brand positioning and customer loyalty.
• Exceptional leadership skills with ability to inspire, coach, and manage diverse teams.
• Strong adaptability and resilience in a dynamic, fast-paced retail environment.
• Luxury mindset with deep understanding of exclusivity, premium service, and brand storytelling.
• Experience with international beauty/cosmetics brands or partnerships.
• Exposure to digital/omnichannel retail strategies (e-commerce, influencer-led sales).
• Familiarity with franchise or outlet expansion models.
