Job Role: Head Of Business Development (Life Business)
Job Summary: The job is a senior management role and will be responsible for creating and executing strategies to drive revenue growth by identifying new market opportunities, acquiring new clients, and expanding the company’s reach.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Business Development
– Develop and implement strategies to expand the life business insurance portfolio across key business lines.
– Identify new markets, client segments, and growth opportunities.
2.Client Retention and Growth
– Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure retention
– Deepen engagement with corporate clients through cross-selling and policy renewals.
3.New Business and Innovation
– Design and promote insurance solutions that meet diverse client needs
– Identify and pursue high-potential new business opportunities.
4.Market and Competitive Analysis
5.Sales Leadership
– Drive achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual NBI targets through effective planning and execution.
– Support the development of marketing and sales initiatives to achieve set targets.
6.After-Sales and Client Relationship Management
7.Team Collaboration
8.Compliance
– Ensure all business activities comply with NAICOM and other regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field.
– Associate, CIIN(ACIIN).
– Membership in NCRIB will be an advantage.
– At least 8-10 years of experience in insurance or brokerage roles, preferably with a mix of technical and sales experience.
– Track record of growing business, keeping clients, and managing partnerships.
– Strong communication and presentation skills.
– Ability to think strategically and analyze market opportunities.
– Hands-on experience in business development and sales.
– Leadership and team management skills.
– Professional, honest, and results-oriented.
