Our client a nursery and primary school located on the mainland is in urgent need to fill the vacancies of cleaners, teachers & administrative staff. Experienced and qualified teachers with early years and Montessori qualification with hands on classroom experience.
PERSON PROFILE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR PLAYGROUP, RECEPTION & NURSERY TEACHERS
• Minimum of Bachelor of Education & early years certificate 2-4 years post NYSC experience.
. Good spoken English
• Experience in jolly phonics
• Experience in early childhood hands on teaching methods
•Experience in classroom management, teaching and use of appropriate teaching aids.
. Ability to design child centered classroom displays
•Experience in team dynamics and high emotional quotient.
•Ability to simplify curriculum and convey same to children.
•Experience in writing skills and cognitive skills in nursery classes.
• NCE with years of related work experience may be considered.
• And any other assigned duties.
PRIMARY TEACHERS:
B.EDU in required field or other diploma certification for teachers.
•Proven experience as a primary school teacher is mandatory.
•2-6years post qualification experience is mandatory
•Work experience in a primary class is a mandatory requirement
•Ability to use teaching aids and design visually stimulating and engaging / child centered classroom.
•Experience in teaching of all subjects for primary school with emphasis on child’s self confidence and esteem etc.
•Working knowledge of extra curriculum activities for schools and coordination of same outside classroom.
• High emotional quotient, customer focus and professionalism
•Advanced ability to communicate with parents and children with zero grammatical errors.
•Excellent Microsoft office abilities
•Professional handling of discipline in line with school work ethics.
•Experience in nursery teaching.
CLEANERS:
SSCE with minimum 2 years work experience as a cleaner.
