Job Summary
HRLeverage Africa, the pan-African workforce management company is recruiting for its client a leading global manufacturer in the power equipment and new energy sector, specializing in the production of high-efficiency, energy-saving digital distribution transformers and integrated box-type transformers for photovoltaic and wind power applications.
Key Responsibilities
•Market Insight & Strategy: Analyze local power market trends, policies, and competition. Develop region-specific business development strategies.
•Channel & Customer Development: Build strong partnerships with local design institutes, engineering firms, equipment suppliers, and key clients (e.g., power grids, renewable power plants, and industrial enterprises).
•Project Lifecycle Management: Oversee opportunity identification, technical engagement, bid preparation, and contract negotiation. Ensure project delivery and customer satisfaction.
•Brand Representation: Promote the company’s image at power industry events, exhibitions, and forums. Strengthen ties with local government agencies and industry associations.
•Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with headquarters’ technical, engineering, and product teams to align market needs and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Science, or related disciplines.
•Fluent in English (both written and verbal); proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
•Minimum of 1 year of overseas business experience in the power product industry or 2 years in market development or sales roles.
•Strong understanding of international trade, local regulations, bidding processes, and project risk management.
•Willingness to relocate or work in assigned regions across the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Europe, or the Americas.
