Role Description
This is a contract role for a Project Administrator, operating in a hybrid capacity. The position is
based in Midrand, but some work from home is acceptable. The Project Administrator will be
responsible for coordinating project activities, managing schedules, tracking project progress,
maintaining project documentation, and supporting the project management team. Additional
tasks include communicating with stakeholders, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance
with project requirements and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse management:
Manage inbound and outbound material and documentation
∙Documentation and Record Keeping:
Creating, maintaining, and organizing project documents, reports, and
records.
∙Meeting Management:
Scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and distributing
meeting materials.
Schedule Management:
Assisting in the creation and maintenance of project schedules, tracking
progress against deadlines, updating progress on portal and identifying
potential delays.
∙Budget Tracking:
Monitoring project expenses, creating forecast and funding request, and
providing budget updates.
∙Po Management:
Supporting PMO in creating and processing Purchase order (PO)
∙Communication and Coordination:
Facilitating communication between team members, stakeholders, and other
departments.
∙Resource Management:
Assisting with the allocation and tracking of project resources.
∙Logistics:
Assisting with collection and transportation of materials from client.
Qualifications
• Project coordination, scheduling, and tracking skills
• Experience in maintaining project documentation and supporting project management
teams
• Driver license
• Strong organizational and time management skills are crucial for managing multiple
tasks and deadlines.
• Communication, and reporting skills
• Proficiency with project management tools and software
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
• Experience in telecom or related industry is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field
