HRLeverage Africa is an HR management, outsourcing and recruitment service provider currently seeking to fill in the position for a client; a catering and logistics service provider to airlines in Nigeria.
This Client needs a talented pastry chef to create delectable sweets and confectionery, create seasonal menus, and create new recipes for the pastry division of our kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Create a productive workplace, the executive and sous chefs must be consulted when operating and supervising the pastry sector of the kitchen.
- Prepare confections, baked products, and pastries by following a predetermined recipe.
- Monitoring the stock of baking ingredients.
- Ordering new supplies, ingredients, and equipment for the pastry section, when needed, and within budget.

Requirements
- Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking, or relevant field.
- 2 or more years’ experience working within the food industry as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or relevant role.
- Working knowledge of pastry-making procedures and baking methods.
- Creative ability with artistic skill in decorating cakes and other desserts.
- Ordering new supplies, ingredients, and equipment for the pastry section, when needed, and within budget.
