Are you an Engineer with substantial experience in Lift instalment, maintenance and support? Do you have an aptitude for electrical and/or mechanical work? Our client, an engineering company based in Lagos that specializes in lift installation, maintenance, repairs and modernisation is looking to employ the skills of a Junior Lift Engineer and a Senior Lift Engineer respectively.
Key Competencies
The ideal candidate MUST HAVE the following Key Competencies;
• An aptitude for electrical and/or mechanical work
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Ability to understand engineering drawings and principles
• Good communication and customer care skills
• Ability to plan and organise workloads
• Ability to work without close supervision
• Computer literate
• Full awareness of statutory requirements and industry guidelines regarding health and safety, and inspections.
NB The Junior Life Engineer must possess a good attitude, willingness to learn and hunger for achievement and also must have interned in any engineering environment.
For the Senior Lift Engineer, at least 3 years working as a lift engineer, undertaking installation and maintenance is required. He/she must also possess good fault finding abilities.
