Job Role :HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment) Officer
Location: Ikoyi
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and monitor HSSE policies, procedures, and programs.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and incident investigations.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and industry best practices.
• Deliver HSSE training and awareness sessions to staff and contractors.
• Prepare and maintain HSSE documentation, reports, and performance metrics.
• Support emergency response planning and drills.
• Collaborate with operational teams to drive continuous improvement in HSSE performance.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant HSSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) are required.
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in HSSE roles, preferably within the oil & gas/energy industry.
• Strong knowledge of HSSE legislation, standards, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, training, and report-writing skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to influence positive safety behaviours.
