About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated professional to join our refinery operations as the Head of Maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all maintenance operations, ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and minimal downtime while effectively managing resources and overseeing a strong technical team.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and supervise the maintenance team to execute tasks safely and efficiently.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies, schedules, and standard operating procedures for all equipment.
• Ensure timely execution of preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and analyse records to identify trends, failures, and cost improvements.
• Forecast and manage the procurement of spares, tools, consumables, and maintenance resources.
• Drive technical integrity, equipment reliability, and cost-effectiveness across refinery operations.
• Interface with production, HSE, and other departments to align maintenance activities with operational needs.
• Provide solutions to urgent technical issues and oversee installations, repairs, and facility upkeep.
• Train, mentor, and build the technical capacity of maintenance staff.
• Liaise with external stakeholders, including regulators, auditors, consultants, and industry partners.
Qualifications & Requirements
• BSc or HND in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent technical qualification).
• A Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) certification will be an advantage.
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience, with at least 7 years in Oil & Gas industry maintenance.
• Proven expertise in identifying and resolving equipment malfunctions, maintenance standards, and industry practices.
• Hands-on knowledge of pumps, compressors, rotating equipment, and other refinery assets.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
