Job Summary

As the Event Space Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our event space, ensuring its successful operation and maximizing its potential for revenue generation. You will work closely with clients and event organizers, coordinating and executing various events while maintaining high standards of customer service. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities
Event Planning and Coordination

• Collaborate with clients and event organizers to understand their requirements and vision for each event.
• Develop comprehensive event plans, including timelines, layouts, and logistics to ensure seamless execution.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and suppliers to fulfill event requirements and ensure smooth operations.

Customer Relations
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and client satisfaction.
• Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
• Act as the primary point of contact for event-related matters, providing timely updates and information to clients.

Venue Management
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the event space, ensuring it is well-maintained and ready
for use at all times.
• Manage event space bookings and scheduling, optimizing space utilization to maximize revenue.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve any maintenance or safety issues.

Budgeting and Financial Management
• Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial
constraints.
• Collaborate with the finance department to track expenses, revenue, and profitability of each
event.

Team Management
• Recruit, train, and supervise event staff, ensuring they are well-prepared and capable of
delivering exceptional service.
• Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, professionalism, and growth
opportunities for team members.

Marketing and Promotion
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies for the event space.
• Participate in marketing efforts, attending industry events and networking to attract new clients
and increase bookings.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, or a related field (or equivalent
experience).
• Proven experience in event planning, coordination, and venue management.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects
simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, staff, and
vendors.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules.
Preferred
• Experience in the hospitality industry or managing a commercial event space.
• Familiarity with local regulations and permits related to events and venue operations.
