Job Summary:
HRLeverage a Pan-African workforce management company is seeking to recruit reliable and punctual Dispatch Rider for our client that is a major player in the freight and forwarding industry. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license, knowledge of the local area, and a strong commitment to timely and safe deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
– Pick up and deliver items to designated locations in a timely and accurate manner
– Follow assigned routes or use navigation tools to determine the most efficient delivery path
– Maintain proper records of deliveries, including signatures and timestamps
– Communicate with dispatchers or supervisors regarding delivery status or issues
– Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
– Handle packages with care and ensure secure transport
Requirements:
– Minimum qualification- SSCE Holder
– Valid driver’s license (motorcycle/scooter license preferred)
– Knowledge of local streets and neighbourhoods
– Strong sense of responsibility and time management skills
– Ability to work independently and handle unexpected situations
– Good communication and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications:
– Previous experience as a delivery rider or courier
– Basic smartphone literacy for navigation and communication
