HRLeverage Africa is an HR management, outsourcing and recruitment service provider currently seeking to fill in the position for a client; a catering and logistics service provider to airlines in Nigeria.
This Client needs a passionate, skilled chef to create delicious meals for their customers. If you have experience with great and advanced cooking techniques, this might be for you.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring that all food is of excellent quality and served in a timely manner.
- Creating new recipes to keep the menu fresh.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends.
- Planning the menu, keeping in mind budget, and availability of seasonal ingredients.
- Modify recipes to meet customers’ needs and requests (e.g. reduce salt, remove dairy)
- Coordinating kitchen staff, and assisting them as required.
- Overseeing all kitchen operations.
- Training staff to prepare and cook all the menu items.
Requirements
- Culinary school degree/diploma.
- Past experience as a working chef.
- Advanced knowledge of the culinary arts.
- Leadership skills
- Great time management skills
- 2-5 years’ proven work experience as a work or chef.
