Job Role: CNG Sales & Marketing Officer

Location: Lagos and Ogun State Nigeria

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced CNG Sales & Marketing Officer to accelerate the growth of our Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) portfolio. This is a key role for a commercial expert who can build relationships, articulate value, and directly contribute to expanding our market presence in the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:
· Strategic Business Development: Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities with commercial and industrial clients for CNG adoption.
· Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term partnerships with existing clients, ensuring high satisfaction and identifying upsell opportunities.
· Market Expertise: Conduct thorough market analysis to understand customer needs, monitor competitor activity, and identify emerging trends in the CNG and alternative energy landscape.
· Sales Target Achievement: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed ambitious sales targets and KPIs.
· Technical Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling technical and commercial presentations, proposals, and tenders to key decision-makers.
· Product Knowledge: Serve as a subject-matter expert on CNG products, their applications, benefits, and economic advantages.
Requirements:
· Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in sales and marketing, with a mandatory focus on CNG products, natural gas, or related energy solutions.
· Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the CNG market, including key players, pricing models, and the technical aspects of CNG systems.
· Technical Proficiency:
· Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
· Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and the Microsoft Office suite.
Soft Skills:
· A hunter mentality with a proven track record of achieving sales goals.
· Self-motivated and able to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a target-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Existing network of contacts within the transportation, manufacturing, or industrial energy sectors.
· Experience with B2B sales in the oil and gas or energy industry.
· Knowledge of government policies and incentives related to clean energy adoption.
