Chef de Partie

HRLeverage Africa is an HR management, outsourcing and recruitment service provider currently seeking to fill in the position for a client; a catering and logistics service provider to airlines in Nigeria.

This Client needs a talented Chef de Partie to help our culinary team create memorable meals for our restaurant’s patrons.

Responsibilities

  1. Preparing specific food items and meal components at your station.
  2. Collaborating with the rest of the culinary team to ensure high-quality food and service.
  3. Keeping your area of the kitchen safe and sanitary.
  4. Stock taking and ordering supplies for your station.
  5. Improving your food preparation methods based on feedback.
  6. Coordinates daily tasks with the Sous Chef.
  7. Responsible to supervise junior chefs or commis.
  8. Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production and presentation standards.
  9. Operate and maintain all department equipment and reporting of malfunctioning.

Requirements

  1. Qualification from a culinary school.
  2. 2-5 years’ experience working in a similar role.
  3. Multitasking and organizational ability.
  4. Qualification from a culinary school.
  5. Ability to work well in a team.
