LINE MANAGER: Business Development Manager
Purpose Statement:
To provide exemplary business support whilst adding value to the Sahara Power’s project and general business operations. This also involves building strong relationships with related stakeholders in the course of duty -both internal and external.
Key Deliverables
Research markets and follow industry trends locally and internationally
Brainstorm with business development team to create new project strategies
Collect and manage data for business development team
Managing records and other important data
Assist in monitoring monitor timelines and budgets
Contribute to establish and implement business tools and processes
Collaborate across the other functions in SPG to ensure activities are tracked to provide day-to-day management and oversight of SPG/OPCO projects; including workflows and timeline development
Organize meetings – external, internal, intercompany and other stakeholder meetings
Attend seminars and industry events
Follow up new business opportunities
Assist in building trust and long-term relationships with relevant business stakeholders
Assist with report writing including business analysis, planning and preparing presentations, management feedback and internal knowledge & information sharing.

Minimum Qualification / Experience:
A proven degree in any relevant institution and a drive to succeed.
Adequate financial knowledge is crucial
Minimum of 1-3 years of cognate working experience (Post-NYSC) in a similar role/ relevant field
Ability to develop and implement appropriate strategies and processes to aid attainment of set objectives.
Proven record of delivering outstanding results.
