HRLeverage Africa is an HR management, Outsourcing and Recruitment Service Provider. Our Client is in urgent need of a Brand Manager, who will be responsible for writing compelling marketing and promotional materials for a wide variety of products and services. The Ideal Candidate will help define brand voice and ensure that all copy is consistent with this voice by writing, editing, and proofing materials.
The Brand Manager oversees a wide array of business functions including branding, communication channels, product development, online and offline promotions, and market research. The role is responsible for developing brand strategies, promoting brand growth and expansion, implementing brand plans, and using a variety of data to drive volume and profitability.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Design a research-based brand strategy
2. Carrying out market research to keep up to date with customer trends, as well as to predict future trends
3. Establish and maintain project budgets
4. Define and manage the brand communication strategy using a variety of media
5. Supervising advertising, product design, and other forms of marketing to maintain consistency in branding
6. Own the development and messaging of the brand narrative
7. Create, execute, and manage marketing programs and campaigns
8. Identify how our brand is currently positioned in the market
9. Develop and execute marketing campaigns aimed at communicating the brand message
10. Lead marketing team members through campaigns
11. Measure and report on the success of marketing campaigns
12. Anticipate consumer trends and keep brand up to date
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. MBA preferred.
2. 2-4 years of experience in brand management, brand marketing, or marketing management
3. Excellent portfolio of work

1. Proven ability to work cross-functionally
2. Experience managing brands across multiple markets
3. Creative thinker and problem solver
4. Strong communication skills
5. Project management experience, with a solid understanding of project management principles and techniques
