Job Title: Billing/Invoicing Officer
Industry: Freight Forwarding / Logistics
Location: Oshodi–Apapa Expressway, Lagos.
Remuneration: #100,000
Responsibilities
• Prepare and issue invoices for freight forwarding services such as container shipping and airline logistics.
• Apply correct rate structures (local and international) to all client billings.
• Verify service completion with operations before invoicing clients.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and handle client billing-related inquiries.
• Maintain updated billing systems, customer profiles, and rate sheets.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial processes and documentation standards. Requirements
• 1–2 years of experience in billing/invoicing within the freight forwarding or logistics industry is key.
• The candidate must be Familiar with shipping line billing, container invoicing, and airline lodging charges.
• High attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and invoicing software.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to integrate quickly into fast-paced logistics environments.
