HRLeverage Africa is an HR management, outsourcing and recruitment service provider currently seeking to fill in the position for a client; a catering and logistics service provider to airlines in Nigeria.
This Client needs a creative bakery chef to be responsible for the creation of delicious desserts and confectionery, designing menus and developing new recipes.
Responsibilities.
- Preparing ingredients and handling baking and other kitchen equipment.
- Creating pastries and baked goods.
- Decorating pastries and desserts to ensure aesthetic and tasty presentation.
- Monitoring the stock of baking ingredients.
- Ordering new supplies, ingredients and equipment for the pastry
- Ensure the kitchen adheres to safety and health regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum of an O’level certificate.
- A certificate from culinary arts, pastry-making, baking or related field.
- 2-5 years’ experience working in the food industry as a Pastry Chef, Baker or relevant role.
- Artistic ability to create desserts.
- Keen attention to detail
- Capable of working in a fast-paced, production environment.
