Bakery Chef

HRLeverage Africa is an HR management, outsourcing and recruitment service provider currently seeking to fill in the position for a client; a catering and logistics service provider to airlines in Nigeria.

This Client needs a creative bakery chef to be responsible for the creation of delicious desserts and confectionery, designing menus and developing new recipes.

Responsibilities.

  1. Preparing ingredients and handling baking and other kitchen equipment.
  2. Creating pastries and baked goods.
  3. Decorating pastries and desserts to ensure aesthetic and tasty presentation.
  4. Monitoring the stock of baking ingredients.
  5. Ordering new supplies, ingredients and equipment for the pastry
  6. Ensure the kitchen adheres to safety and health regulations.

Requirements

  1. Minimum of an O’level certificate.
  2. A certificate from culinary arts, pastry-making, baking or related field.
  3. 2-5 years’ experience working in the food industry as a Pastry Chef, Baker or relevant role.
  4. Artistic ability to create desserts.
  5. Keen attention to detail
  6. Capable of working in a fast-paced, production environment.
