Role: Accountant
Industry: Oil & Gas, Downstream
Location: Ikoyi
JOB DUTIES:
– Assist in preparing year-end financial statements & monthly management accounts in line with IFRS
– Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate timely financial statements audit
– Process supplier invoices and ensure accurate & timely payments with deduction of relevant taxes ( WHT, VAT & LASG)
– Regular and accurate reconciliation of fixed assets register to fixed asset ledger, CWIP & trial balance
– General ledger reconciliation
– Preparation of monthly sales reports for LPG plants, RFS & CNG business
– Financial statements analysis
Qualifications:
– Possess a B.sc/HND in Accounting or Finance related field from an accredited institution
– 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role
– Downstream sector experience
– Recognized professional accreditation ( ICAN/CFA/CIMA/ACCA)
– Ability to perform financial statements analysis is an added advantage
