Overview
The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and delivering complex IT projects across infrastructure, applications, and ERP domains. This includes planning, coordinating, and executing initiatives to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and in alignment with organisational goals. The role requires strong project management expertise, stakeholder engagement, and technical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

-Oversee end-to-end delivery of IT projects, including ERP implementations, infrastructure upgrades, and application deployments.

-Develop and manage project plans, scope, budgets, risks, and deliverables.

-Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and consultants to ensure collaboration and accountability.

-Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, risks, and issue resolution.

-Lead risk management, quality assurance, testing, and system integration activities.

-Manage change initiatives, including communication, training, and user adoption strategies.

-Document requirements, align outcomes with organisational strategy, and ensure adherence to best practices.

-Mentor and guide project team members to promote capability development and high performance.

Qualifications

-Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, PgMP) preferred.

-5–7 years of IT project management experience with a track record in large-scale infrastructure, application, or ERP projects.

-Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) and tools (MS Project, Jira, Asana).

-Experience managing budgets, risks, vendors, and stakeholders at multiple levels.

-Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, and ERP systems.

-Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

-Experience in change management and user adoption.

Preferred Skills

-Experience in utilities, government, or large enterprise environments.

-Familiarity with ITIL, COBIT, or IT service management frameworks.

-Background in cloud migration, cybersecurity, or enterprise software projects.

-Ability to manage geographically dispersed teams.
